I'm still having fun drawing with my left hand, and having less fun trying to get a photograph that shows accurate colors.

I am just in awe, ina. Both/either hand?? Must explain why I have no artistic talent in either... you got it, you wretch! :)
Srsly, I read something ages back, forget if it was neuroscience or more in the physical-therapy line, noting that working with one's non-dominant hand sometimes had amazing results breaking through blockages. Cognitive, communicative, artistic--all sorts.
Theory was that it used different brain circuits, thereby loosening up ingrained habits. Don't know if it was ever explored to a scientific extent or just noted as a curiosity. Watching your work brought it back to mind.
