Since I've discovered
SUMO Paint for my silly facebook parallel universe album addiction, the girls want me to draw for a few minutes for them at night before they go to bed. It seems kind of odd--drawing as a spectator sport, but it's fun, too. It's also odd to be using my middle finger to scroll around on my laptop to make lines. It reminds me a little of an etch-a-sketch (with much more freedom of line). As I draw, the girls offer suggestions and/or compliments. Then, when I'm done with the drawing, we play with color adjustments and filters until we all think it looks cool! I guess it's like an interactive bed-time story.

This is tonight's piece.
Can you tell I'm thinking about the pipes?

This is the first one I did
