Just in time, too! Potatoes (white or sweet), turnips, onions, all root vegetables or plants whose major growth takes place underground, should be planted in the dark/waning of the moon.
If you believe such things. I used to scoff at planting "by the moon" but finally figured what the hell, as superstitions go it's one of the better ones. Does no harm, may do some good, encourages contact with nature and paying attention to the sky.
I on the other hand had best get my rear in gear & tubers in the ground. Wasted a perfect day today working on lawnmower. Which now works. (ow. wrenches elbow patting back.) :)
